Donna Ruth Downs Calhoun, 69, of Ohatchee, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Etowah Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery at Duck Springs. Bro. Stanley Naylor and Bro. Roger Waggoner will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Caleb Holloway, Cade Holloway, James Walker, Jonathan Naylor, Tim Rockley and Brent Holloway. Honorary pallbearer will be Samwise Calhoun. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 before the service. She is survived by her children, Mary “Lu” Naylor (Stanley), Jennifer Holloway (Brent), Howard Calhoun (Emily) and Rhett Calhoun (Robin), grandchildren, Jonathan Naylor, Brittainy Walker (James), Caleb Holloway, Cade Holloway, Ivy McCurley and Samwise Calhoun, great-grandchild, Lilly Grace McGowan, siblings, Jerry Downs (Janet) and David Downs (Kyla), several nieces and nephews.
