Linda McCright, 79, of Boaz who passed away on April 1, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, April 4, 2022 at Etowah Memorial Chapel. Stephen Smith, Rev. Jimmy Umphrey and Rev. Tim Rayburn will be officiating. Burial will be in Carnes Chapel Cemetery. Etowah Memorial Chapel will be directing the service. Mrs. McCright was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McCright; daughter, Rita Lindsay; parents, P.G. and Jessie Mayo and her brothers and sisters, Imo Jean Battles, Troy Mayo, Alice Townsend, Eschol Mayo, Gary Mayo She is survived by her daughter, Debra Smith (LaDon); son, Russell McCright (Tina); grandchildren, Joe Lindsay (Hala), Sheena Lindsay, Alicia Powell, Justin MccRight (Jazmen) and Shae Sanders; Great grandchildren; Osalyn Minor, Kennedy Minor, Jagger Powell, Millie Powell, Stella McCright, Laken Sanders, Isla Lindsay, brother, Joe Mayo (Clovis); sist6er, Jane Parker and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dale McCright, Stevie McCright, Rickey Smith, Terry Mayo, Joe Mayo and Gary Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Heartline Hospice, LaDon Smith and Kennith Lindsay. The family will receive friends Monday, April 4, 2022 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Etowah Memorial Chapel.
